The picture is very poor on freeview. I get interference, blocks appearing, clicking sounds and a generally unwatchable picture.
How do I connect my computer to my TV? I can't seem to get any sound.
Picture has speckles or sparkles while watching.
Picture comes on, then goes off, sometimes flickers.
I get a green or blue screen, but I can hear the sound coming from the TV channel.

Avtex L187drs - remote control has stopped working. Have replaced batteries, considered all other reasons and still not working. How do I get a replacement - tv under 2 years.

tv is on scan every time it is turned on and will not respond to remote even with new batteries
My motorhome Avtex TV is 'fed' from two sources: a satellite dish and an Avtex stick type aerial that feeds a Svenson amplifier. It works well via satellite but doesn't work at all when the Avtex aerial is selected as the source.
Having investigated behind the panelling, I found two leads from the aerial - one to the Svenson and the other un-connected. Both appear to be 'fixed' to the aerial i.e. not loose when gently tested.
I checked both leads with a resistance meter and and the needle hardly moved. Should it?
Everytime we put it into standby mode it loses the channels & we have to retune.
Also, despite the clocks going forward 2 days ago the tv hasn't updated so is now an hour behind. We have retuned several times & checked it's on auto for the time.
Keeps going on scan all when we switch off and put it back on it just keeps doing rescan
Will not tune into any TV stations. Plays dvds, no problem.
Aerial not at fault, because it works with a different tv.

Solution 1: First solution: check the power. Yes, I know it's obvious, but if the fuse has gone in the plug, if the cable is loose or if you've overlooked a second power switch, this might be your problem. If you have any indication of power at all (e.g. power light), you can discount this.
Alternative Solution: Is the plug in/on also have you checked the cables are in correctly (it's worth checking them over)

Solution 1: This sounds like a poor signal. Go into the menu and see if you can check the signal strength. To solve this, you will need to either (1) Retune your TV to a more local transmitter, (2) Improve / reposition your TV aerial, or (3) Check the cable that connects your TV to the aerial - replacing this will be easier and cheaper that replacing the antenna.

Solution 1: You might need to send a separate audio cable to your TV, even if you're connecting via HDMI.

Solution 1: This is likely to be a cable problem. Try with a different cable if you have one handy. Cheaper cables are more likely to do this, particularly if they are quite long (over 5 metres)
