Picture has speckles or sparkles while watching.
Picture comes on, then goes off, sometimes flickers.
The picture is very poor on freeview. I get interference, blocks appearing, clicking sounds and a generally unwatchable picture.
The TV won't turn on.
When i turn on my TV, i can see the green light to indicate it is on. The TV then starts to make noises as if the DVD is being ejected. The TV remains black and nothings happens.
Sandstrom S24LED11 TV. when i do a scan manual or auto i only get 4 channels i am on cable tv only with virgin media ireland. my location is dublin. The country options are UK and more from europe only, not ireland. The amount of channels i should get is around 20. Do i need a usb software update as i have tried all the sources .
How do I connect my computer to my TV? I can't seem to get any sound.

(Click on a problem to comment or help)My grandma said she could get her dvd to work on a sandstron tv/ dvd combi. I had a look and when trying to push the dvd into the side of the tv (into disk compartment) it was blocked by two white peices of plastic that look like bollards but very tiny. One was at the bottom of the disk side in part and one at the top. I thought it was some kind of lock, but I couldn't figure out how to disable it. Has anybody got any ideas what this could be, as I've never seen it before on a t?

My sandsorm tv dvd combi was working fine untill today. The plug is pluged into the mains the green light comes on then after 4 seconds the red light comes on and the tv wont come on. Ive tried turning it off at the mains and waited atleast 10 seconds befor trying it again ive tried turning it off a few times. Is there any common fault with these tvs?
Every few minutes the sound goes off for a fraction of a second, then comes on, it is like a dip in the sound.
the remote does not work properly, it is hard to change programs and going down a page is impossible. I don't know if the problem is with the receiver or the remote. Please help!
My tv keeps flicking back from hdmi to dvd all the time. This happens at least 10 times every 30 minutes and I have to keep changing the input back to hdmi. It is very annoying and is getting more and more frequent. The DVD player no longer works. How can I disconnect the DVD player to stop this from happening?
sandstrom models24led11 i just entered scart mode instead of tv and its just stuck there i have tried changing the mode with the remote but its just not responding
My sandstrom tv turns on but just comes up with a blank white screen and the buttons on the controller don't do anything. Is there anything I could try?
Neither of the Hdni terminals work. I get no picture from my iPad anymore, watched a film to the end then they just stopped working.

Problem: Picture has speckles or sparkles while watching.

Solution 1: This is likely to be a cable problem. Try with a different cable if you have one handy. Cheaper cables are more likely to do this, particularly if they are quite long (over 5 metres)

Solution 1: Probably a loose cable connection. Try fiddling around with the cable while it's on and see if it helps.

- I have the same problem. Connected another tv to the same aerial source and picture is fine so it must be the tv tuner. Only happens over a specific frequency range mainly ITV, and guess what it is just out of warranty. Hope this helps someone.

Solution 1: This sounds like a poor signal. Go into the menu and see if you can check the signal strength. To solve this, you will need to either (1) Retune your TV to a more local transmitter, (2) Improve / reposition your TV aerial, or (3) Check the cable that connects your TV to the aerial - replacing this will be easier and cheaper that replacing the antenna.
